A Message to Parents

As a parent, nothing matters more than the safety of your child.

As a father of three daughters myself, I understand that feeling deeply.

My journey began in a small village in Bangladesh, where life was built on hard work, sacrifice, and family values. I grew up watching my parents struggle every day just to provide us with a better future. From helping with household work to preparing land for cultivation, I learned early in life that responsibility is not taught by words — it is taught through actions.

My mother especially became the greatest example of strength in my life. Her endless sacrifices taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of caring for others. Those values still guide me today as a driving instructor and as the founder of Momin's Driving School.

During my university years, I witnessed many heartbreaking road accidents. Innocent lives were lost in moments because of careless and unsafe driving. I still remember thinking about the families left behind — mothers waiting for their children to return home, parents losing their sons and daughters, children losing their loved ones forever.

Those memories stayed in my heart for years.

When I moved to Canada in 2012 with my family, I worked hard to build a new life. Like many immigrants, the journey was not easy. I worked as an accountant with various organizations in Ontario and built a stable professional career. Although those positions were respected and secure, I always felt deep inside that my true purpose was somewhere else.

No matter what work I did, one thought always remained in my mind:

“How can I help make our roads safer for our community and for our children?”

That question eventually became my mission.

I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: to leave my accounting career and follow my dream of building a driving school focused on safety, patience, and genuine care for students. For me, this school is not just a business. It is a responsibility to my community and a purpose I truly believe in.

I decided to become a driving instructor not simply to teach driving, but to help people feel safe, confident, and responsible behind the wheel. Over the years, I discovered that many young drivers are intelligent and capable — they simply need patience, encouragement, and someone who truly cares about their success.

Many students come to lessons carrying fear, anxiety, or nervousness. Some are afraid of traffic. Some are afraid of making mistakes. I never forget that every student sitting beside me is someone's son, someone's daughter, someone's future.

That is why I teach every student with patience, respect, and genuine care — just as I would want someone to teach my own children.

At Momin's Driving School, my goal is not only to help students pass a road test. My goal is to help them build lifelong safe driving habits, confidence, awareness, and responsibility.

Because a license is important.

But a safe return home is even more important.

Today, I feel proud that my school is officially approved by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) as a BDE course provider. But more importantly, I feel proud every time a student becomes a safer and more confident driver.

My dream is simple:

To help create safer roads for our families, our community, and the next generation.

When parents trust me with their children, I never take that responsibility lightly.
